New Terminal Adapters Configure DC/DC Converters

Redmond, WA May 20, 1996 -- New terminal adapters for improved flexibility in configuring DC/DC converters are now available from Interpoint Corporation. The new PIN terminal adapters slide over the ends of Interpoint's side-leaded package terminals to transform the converter into either an up-leaded or down-leaded configuration. Voltage drops are kept to a minimum by the materials used in the construction of these adapters.

PIN adapters are compatible with several Interpoint converters, including the MFL 65 Watt Series, the MFLHP 100 Watt Series, and the MHP 65 Watt Series. Engineers can also use these adapters to adapt Interpoint's FMD/FME EMI filter, LCM line conditioning module, or HUM-70 hold up module.

Constructed of low resistance copper alloy Cu-70210, Interpoint's PIN terminal adapters minimize voltage drops across the terminals. For example, a typical voltage drop for an MFL2805S DC/DC converter is just 30 mV. On some models, the sense function can entirely eliminate any drop in voltage. The solder and electrolytic nickel plating on PIN terminal adapters facilitate easy solder attachment.

The PIN terminal adapters are $3 each in quantities of 1-24. There is a 10-piece minimum order. For more information on Interpoint's PIN terminal adapters, catalog, or pricing in higher quantities, contact Interpoint's Sales Team.
