Redmond, WA October 2, 1996 - New package styles for DC/DC converters and EMI filters from Interpoint Corporation deliver flexibility when designing power supplies into a system. The new packages now offer up-lead and down-lead options and a new tab case option for several Interpoint products.

Interpoint's MFL, MFLHP, and MHP Series DC/DC converters may be ordered with any of the new package styles. The new packages are also available for the FME and FMD filter series. Two header style are offered: end flange and side tab flange. The end flange package offers the traditional straight lead or a new down-lead option for through-hole mounting. The new side tab flanged packages are availabed with either straight leads, leads bent up or leads bent down. Packages are constructed of gold plated cold rolled steel and seam welded to ensure hermeticity.

There is no additional cost for products ordered with the new package styles.
