Interpoint Introduces DC/DC Surface Mount Converters

"In addition to being lightweight, our new surface mount converters were designed to reduce our customers circuit board assembly costs," adds Dunlap. Available in 1.5 to 5 watts, the MG Series surface mount DC/DC converters operate from -55°C to +125°C. The FMGA Filter, which can be used with all Interpoint MG Series converters, also operates at that same temperature range. All converters are hermetically sealed in metal cases. The 1.5 watt MGH DC/DC converter has a case size of 1.010 x 0.880 x 0.250 inches (25.65 x 22.35 x 6.35 mm). The 5 watt MGA converter offers a case size of 1.110 x 1.110 x 0.250 inches (28.19 x 28.19 x 6.35 mm). The FMGA filter case measures 1.010 x 0.880 x 0.250 inches (25.65 x 22.35 x 6.35 mm). DC/DC converters are available with either single or dual output in popular output voltages, including 5, 12, and 15V.
