35 NEW DC/DC CONVERTERS INTRODUCED IN NEW INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL PRODUCT GUIDE

Redmond, WA November 22, 1995 - Today Interpoint Corporation introduced 35 new DC/DC power conversion products for high reliability industrial, commercial, and quasi-military applications. All of these new converters are outlined in a new product guide, available free of charge from Interpoint.
These new power converters, entitled the Value/Performance (VP) Series, offer Interpoint's traditional quality for industrial and commercial applications, ensuring system reliability. For quasi-military applications, these converters provide a cost-cutting solution for applications which do not require full military qualified products yet demand the same outstanding performance.
Grouped in seven product families, the new VP Series features output power ranges from 6 to 45 watts in single, dual, and triple output configurations. Models are available with 3.3, 5, ±5, 12, 15, ±12, ±15 volt outputs for a large variety of applications. Input ranges vary with the model, but include the standard 18 to 36 volts and 36 to 72 volts. Additionally, some models feature an extended input range of up to 18 to 72 volts for maximum system flexibility.
In addition to the off-the-shelf units, Interpoint is offering the option of stress test (ST) screening on the VP Series. ST screening exposes the units to stringent visual, mechanical, and environmental conditions to further ensure long-term reliability. Mechanical shock, temperature shock, electrical testing, and 96 hours of burn-in at the maximum rated temperature are all included in ST screening.
Interpoint's new product guide also includes existing epoxy-encapsulated models and the HR Series of power conversion products. The HR Series converters are hermetically sealed to provide maximum EMI/RFI shielding and protection against moisture and corrosion for high level industrial/commercial applications.
